AMA Student's Association Panel Discussion on Healthcare Reform
What: Prof. Harold Pollack from of SSA/CHAS, Prof. Anup Malani from the Law School, and Dr. Robert Sargis from the Medical Center will be giving an overview of the healthcare reform legislation currently in front of Congress, and discussing its greater implications for American healthcare reform.

Schweitzer Leadership by Example Lecture (RSVP)
What: The Schweitzer alumni program (Fellows for Life) has organized a lecture series featuring exemplary community leaders who will talk about their lives in public service.  This upcoming lecture will feature Dr. Rob McKersie, an alumnus of both the Schweitzer Program and the Pritzker School at the University of Chicago.  Dr. McKersie serves on the Chicago Schweitzer Advisory Council, and on the board of Himalayan Health Care.  He is also a faculty member at the Lawrence Family Medicine Residency Program in Lawrence, MA.  Reservations are strongly recommended.  Please RSVP to, rsvp@hmprg.org or call 312 372-4292 Ext. 24

Schwartz Rounds are a multidisciplinary forum where clinical caregivers can openly discuss their experiences, thoughts, and feelings as they relate to patient care.
